On Sunday the 2nd September 2012 as Under 16's, we took part in an 11-a-side Round-Robin. Participating were the Champions of the Mid Wilts League (Bath City Gladiators), the Champions of the Midsomer Norton League (Westfield) the Runners-Up of the Woodspring League (Weston Crusaders) and of course ourselves. Yeovil Academy Match |

On Sunday the 27th May 2012 as Under 15's, we were asked to play Yeovil Academy so that Professional Scouts from Bristol City, Bristol Rovers, Cardiff, Swindon, Southampton and Manchester United could watch the Yeovil players after Yeovil had lost its Academy status and had had to release their players. The result was not the aim of the game (thankfully), and everyone enjoyed sausage, chips and drinks in the bar afterwards. For a few photos from the match, look in our Photo Gallery. |

On the 8th January 2012 as Under 15's, we took advantage of the week off to have a friendly match against the U16 Colts. With the bad weather, both managers took the decision to hire South Bristol Sports Centre and photos of the session can be found in our Photo Gallery. |

On the 16th December 2011 as Under 15's, we held our last training session of the year, with all players and coaches wearing a Christmas Hat. On the 11th December 2011 as Under 15's, with a week off, we had a session amongst ourselves at Whitchurch Indoor Sports Centre. In the two "Special" games (Dads v Reds & Dads v Blues), the Dads won both games 2-0.... Undefeated!!! For some photographs visit our Photo Gallery |

Fundraising For The
Children's Hospice South West
|

As U15's, we were inspired by Barcelona in their fundraising ideas. Rather than be paid for kit sponsorship, Barcelona paid Unicef £1 million per year to display their logo, as reported in this Guardian_Article, and we decided to follow a similar route. Joining in with the Children’s Hospice South West based at Charlton Farm, Wraxall in the South West of Bristol, we will proudly display the CHSW logo for our final two seasons, and will collect money via collection tins at each game. We kicked off the fundraising drive at our game away to Yate Utd on Sunday 13th November 2011, and are grateful to Yate for the opportunity, as well as the £20 donation from the Yate team. We are also very grateful to our main sponsor Dribuild Interior Solutions for donating the money to have the away shirts printed, and who are fully supportive of the effort. On 31st January 2010 as U13's, and with just one game played since mid-December, and another week off, we took up the offer of a training game against the U11 Colts. On Friday 5th December 2008 as U12's, we assembled at ASDA Longwell Green, for a session of bag packing to raise money for a new away kit. Those who came had a great time and were able in a short period of time to raise £520.00. Big thanks must go firstly to ASDA for allowing us the opportunity, to the mystery lady who gave £50 citing Fry Club as a customer (thank you!!!), to Sam Sutton who organised the whole shebang, and finally to our players and all of the helpers. On Tuesday 30th October 2007 as Under 11's, a few of us were lucky enough to receive some Futsal coaching by the England Coaches at Bath University, followed by the chance to watch the England Futsal team play Andorra, one of the best in the world game.
