Fry Club Under 14 Girls Play Santa

 

Some of the Fry Club girls had a turn at giving this Christmas, they went to the Barbara Russell Childrens Ward at Frenchay Hospital with a selection of toys and chocolates.

 

The girls were given 2 bag packing sessions at Asda Longwell Green to raise money for kit and local charities. The girls decided to buy toys with some of the money. They met up with one of the play leaders, Julie from the ward, and allocated the toys to the children.

The girls then went around the ward and gave the presents out along with a selection box to each child. The children were all very pleased with their presents as it is not very nice being in hospital at Christmas.

 

They are hoping to undertake some more fundraising for the ward throughout the year.
