1^ST Half

Even first 10mins, Shire cut through Fry's defence with a cracking shot just over. Jacob with a free kick just outside the box powers it into the top corner of the net. 1-0 Fry's after 9mins. Good play by Fry's forces a corner but Ryan misses an easy chance in front of goal. Shire attack and manage to cut trough the defence and beat Brandon with a shot only for the post to save us. After good play by George on the edge of the box his pass sets up Dan Wetmore who slots it into the bottom corner of net to make it 2-0. Brandon is then forced into making an outstanding save which saves a certain goal for Shire half time 2-0 to Fry's.

2^nd Half

Great start sees George with an excellent volley which forces Shire keeper to make a good save. Shire then force their own attack but squander a great shooting chance in front of goal. We then force another good free kick within Jacob range and his shot is blocked on the line. 2^nd half is more even with Shire pressing hard to get back in the game and on 37mins Shire score after chaos in the Fry's defence to make it 2-1 at full time.

MAN OF MATCH: BRANDON CLARK Made some outstanding saves to keep us in the game and marshalled his team well from the back.

Match Report by Claire Moore

1^st Half

Shire forces a corner in opening seconds of the game which is cleared for a second corner which is cleared by Josh Seeley. Shire all over Fry's as Fry's struggle to clear ball from their half. Callum shoots but good save by keeper. Shire then score after 7mins after Fry's fail to clear their lines. After some good football from Fry's Josh James' shot slices off his foot going wide. Dan Bowden then unleashes a shot just past the post. Shire counter attack and Josh Seeley clears off the line after Brandon is beaten. First half finishes 1-0 to Shire.

2^nd Half

Shire start as they started first half. Rhys clears off the  line as the ball goes through Brandon legs. After some better football by Fry's Josh James scores to make it 1-1. Shire defence now all over the place and we take full advantage as Dan Bowden smashes in the second after good work by Sam. Harry Clarke has been quietly taking control of the game in midfield which gives us the strength to go on and win 2-1 at full time.          

MAN OF MATCH: HARRY CLARK with an outstanding performance in midfield and defence as he was moved about the pitch.
