What have you been doing since you, ate all the turkey, stuffed yourself with mince pies and all that chocolate? Not much?

Well at least one member of Fry Club Juniors has been 'running around' making his family proud!

Simon Hancock, son of our Vice Chairman Pete and member of the U16's has got himself through to the next stage of the Western Daily Press 'Shooting Stars' contest where a place at the Bristol City Football Academy is up for grabs.

Father Pete is quoted as saying "I am a Bristol Rovers fan but I would be delighted if Simon could start his career at City. He's done very well today." (so that's why he likes to be treated like royalty- it's that blue blood in his veins! Only kidding Pete.Ed.)

Well Done Simon. We wish you well in the next phase
