Match Days and Training
Always ensure that you have eaten breakfast
Always eat at least one hour before exercise
Always drink plenty of water
Always warm up prior to any games or training
As you start to exercise, you will start to produce waste
product that can store up in your muscles. It takes the body a bit of time to
realise that this is happening. After a few minutes your body will contain so
much of these waste products, that it will start to
feel very tired. All of your muscles will be loaded with rubbish like Lactic
acid and they will feel like lead. At this point your body will start to sort
itself out. It will realise that these waste products are going to keep
building up and so, starts working out how to get rid of them.
Now, your body can
keep these waste products at a low level for a long time. It is at this point
you are now going to be able to play or exercise hard, for long periods. This
period is sometimes known as your “second wind”.
To play effectively
you should start each game after reaching your “second wind”. This is why you
will see the top international players starting a game, already sweating.
Always warm up before a match or training
