Frys Purchase Portable Floodlights!

Fry Club JFC have just received six portable floodlights which we purchased before Christmas. These lights are the first step towards ensuring that in the future we can train on grass  all year round should we choose to do so.  Each one takes a minute or two to erect and offers two hours worth of light, and it is the Club's intention to purchase more so that we can offer the widest possible utility. To view a few more photos, please click Floodlights.

Grassroots Football Postponed Again!

Following the Government’s Announcement on Monday 4th January 2021 of a third National Lockdown, The FA issued their own update advising that all grassroots football in England is postponed until further notice. Remember...

  • wash your hands with soap and water often – do this for at least 20 seconds
  • always wash your hands when you get home or into work
  • use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available
  • cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze
  • put used tissues in the bin immediately and wash your hands afterwards
  • try to avoid close contact with people who are unwell

For more information please visit the official NHS and UK Government websites. Please stay safe.

Healthy New Year From Fry Club JFC!

We at Fry Club JFC would like to wish everyone a very healthy, safe and happy New Year.  After the sadness and disruption of last year, we hope that the Country can pull together, and that the wonders of modern medicines and science with the new vaccines can herald relief for our wonderful NHS and bring  the end to this pandemic, and the return to normal life, and with it grassroots football for all of the girls and boys who love the beautiful game.

Happy New Year

It is hoped, perhaps forlornly, that more parents and players involved in Youth Football will come to realise that its not just about winning. Anyone reading this and wondering what is meant by this should visit the FA Website
